Day 1: VILLE DE DÉPART – M’HAMID

in the morning you leave with a 4 x 4 with driver and guide to Zagora through the mountains of the High Atlas, by the Tizi-n-tichka (2260 m). We stop at the highest point of these mountains to enjoy the immense views. Afterwards we drive to Ait Ben Haddou. There we visit the kasbah (Unesco World Heritage). After lunch we drive to Zagora through Agdz. Then we drive through the Valley of the draa with his beautiful date trees and are fortified villages. Arrived in Zagora we enjoy a beautiful sunset and dinner and stay overnight in Zagora.

Day 2

After breakfast we drive to the high dunes of Chegaga. We drive via Tamegroute (possibly visit the Koran library and a cooperative of pottery). By noon we arrive in Mhamid and we have lunch. In the afternoon we drive through the Sahara to the highest dunes of Chegaga. We walk through the dunes and climb to the top (300 m) to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the duinenzee of 25 km. We eat and sleep in comfortable Nomad tents

Day 3

in the morning we leave with our 4 x 4 to Marrakech. We drive along the lac Iriqui. We follow the traces of old route of Paris-Dakar to the village Forumzguid. We pass along Taznakht where they Berber carpets manufacture. After lunch we will drive to Marrakech through the High Atlas. Arrival in Marrakech is foreseen at the end of the day
